Golf is the one game that gives you the whole truth at the end of the day. The card does not care how it felt over the ball. This is where I keep the parts worth keeping: why the ball does what it does, the courses I have played and what they were actually like, the ones I still want to play, and the honest record of how I scored when it counted.

It starts as notes and grows on the next round. Some of this could become a blog post later. For now it lives here, threaded back into the rest of the garden.

Areas

  • The Science of Golf - why the ball flies, curves, and stops the way it does, and what the swing is actually doing.
  • Course Reviews - the courses I have played, what I enjoyed, what I did not, how I scored, and the scorecard.
  • The Bucket List - one course in every state, then the world. Plain text until I play it, a link to the review once I have.
  • The Nebraska Scramble - a four-person format I made up. Rotating harvest, Second Wind Tokens, Team Mulligans, and a rope called the Corn Row.

How a round gets logged

Every course gets one note that holds the whole story: the review, my rating, how I played, what gave me trouble, and a photo of the scorecard. The shape of that note lives in the course template, so a new round drops in clean.
